I've been looking for information about how far apart samples must be made when doing antenna measurements to ensure that it is sampled above the Nyquist rate, but I must not know how to ask Google properly. Intuitively it seems that it must be related to the wavelength, but since the measurements are made over angles rather than linear distance I haven't been able to derive a relationship.

Can anyone point me in the correct direction?

It depends which kind of scanning you are performing. for planar spacing=or<lambda/2. for angular surface spacing=or< lambda/2(a+lambda) where 'a' is the radius of smallest cylinder or sphere enclosing test antenna.
