Hi guys,
I am wondering if u can recommend me some software, which I can use to plot radiation patterns? I already tried with Matlab, but after solving several problems e.g. converting spherical to cartesian, i wasn't satisfied with resulted plot.
Of course, i hope u know something that is free to download. |

| Are you trying to plot 2D (function of a single variable) or 3D (functions of theta and phi) radiation patterns? |

I want to plot 3D, spherical coordinates (radius, phi, theta). There is no problem with single variable functions. I also managed to do it in 3D but only using function plot3 (Matlab library). Unfortunately, plot sucks.
I noticed here on Antenna-Theory site great patterns. Maybe you know which program are they using? |

| The 3D radiation patterns on this website were done with the help of FEKO. Good 3D plots are hard to come by. If you find a free way to do it, let me know. Matlab's 3D plots don't end up looking real good, I've tried. |
