Hi,
I'm designing a switched beam antenna with dual polarization. My antenna manage to produced a total of 12 beams, 3 beams in each E-plane and H-plane, in angle of 0ᵒ and ±15ᵒ. My antenna is to be used for indoor base station.
My question is, is 15ᵒ is wide enough for indoor base station application? |

You'd probably want more distinction between your beam angles. Indoor applications won't really be line of site always, so there will be some odd angles.
Might be worthwhile to test it out anyway and see if you get some throughput gain over a traiditional (single) antenna |

I manage to get 3 different angles for the beams because I fed the antenna with 3 diff input phase. I know how to make the bandwidth wider, how to get the frequency that I want but I seriously have no idea how to make the angle wider.
Do you have any thought on that? |
