Hi, everyone!
Are they parameters of normal antenna same as antenna of mobile phones?
For example helix antenna and monopole antenna are they have same parameters as helix or monopole antenna in mobile phones?
Here I mean on radiation pattern, gain, directivity etc. I know that they losses their ability due to hand and body interaction (mobile antennas).
Are the principle of work same for both mobile antenna and normal antenna?
P.S. Sorry for my English it's not my native language, I hope that you would understand my question, cheers. |

When designing an antenna for a mobile phone, the primary considerations are:
(1) Antenna Efficiency
(2) Antenna Bandwidth
Polarization is less important - in fact you don't care. It is difficult (virtually impossible) to design a GPS mobile phone antenna with Right Hand Circular Polarization.
You mention hand and head losses. This is important. Basically, you design a few different antennas, and see which design has the best head or hand loss. You try to keep the radiating element away from where the hand or head is, if possible. You also pay a lot of attention to SAR: http://www.antenna-theory.com/definitions/sar.php |

Thank you,
but can you answer me on this question: Are the principle of work same for both mobile antenna and normal antenna?
And do you know something about manufacturing technologies of mobile phones (MID, flex-film, stamped metal, hot stamp), or could you give me link on some article or website because i searched but i didn't find nothing. |
