Hey guys, I need to design a wideband antenna. I only have the basic knowledge of antenna. Can anyone tell me how to get started?

You have no details on the requirements - space constraints? What is the actual bandwidth you have to achieve? Polarization requirements?

A very simple sideband antenna is available here:

There is no constraint on any parameter. It is a college project. The target is to make either a multiband or a wideband antenna which that can be fabricated and made to work.

No constraints on any parameter and a college project? That is quite ridiculous. Just make a dipole then or copy any of the designs on the antenna types page.
