Hello,

I have a question. Assume that you measure the amplitude of a 360 scanning radar from some fix position. I expect to observe that the radiation pattern of the scanning radar is some kind of sinc function or Bessels function.

What is the state of art process to reconstruct that pattern given a list of measurements from the 360 scanning radar?

I was thinking of sinc-regression or something similar? Or what kind of precedure is appropriate to estiamte the gain and beamwidth from these mesaurements?

Greetings
