| I am developing IoT products using Wi-Fi protocol and Zigbee protocol, and right now we are doing RF and OTA tests. The problem we encounter is how to set the criteria for those test items, like TIS, TRP, receiver conduction sensibility, and how bad it will be if the products are off the criteria to certain degree? Is there any documents explaining the performance criteria? |

You have to define what your goals are (in-room coverage, whole-house coverage?)
then estimate link budget, then that determines what your TIS and TRP should be. Your receiver conducted sensitivity (and possible desense) plus antenna efficiency gives you the TIS. |

I see. Thank you for the guidance.
If I define it as whole-house coverage, how should I count the through-wall attenuation? Is there emprical value for different wall types and thickness? |
