Hi,

I wanted to know if the rule of polarization loss factor follows reciprocity.
In my case, there is a circular polarized antenna at the transmitter and a linear polarized antenna at the receiver, I observe a 3dB polarization loss.

Will the same be true if I used a circular polarized antenna at the receiver and a linear polarized antenna at the transmitter end.

Please let me know.

Yes reciprocity holds. It is the same if you swap the Tx and Rx.
