Dear friends
there is an important question for me that may be easy for you.
I really thank if someone reply my question.I want to know:
what dose mean vswr 2.5:1?
Is this different from vswr=2.5?
If it is same,so why we show the VSWR like this?
Regards. |

Yes, VSWR = 2.5 is the same as VSWR=2.5:1
Really, there is no reason. Maybe some people think it is important to stress that it is a ratio, but really it still just measures reflection coefficient.
I don't often see the long form 2.5:1 and I don't think it adds any value either. |
