This isn't really engineering....
But your Yagi probably operates reasonably well at the low band of cell frequencies (800+900 MHz). It probably isn't designed to work at the high band (1800+1900MHz). So it depends on how the Yagi does at the cell frequencies. I assume your Yagi does typical TV frequencies, which are around 300-700 MHz.
I can't tell you which band your 3G operates on, even if I knew the carrier. But, you can rig it up, point it at your nearest cell phone tower, and see if the bars on your cell phone go up. It's worth a shot, but not guaranteed. |
