Dear friends
I'm using a Planar antenna and I'm looking for some methods to uniform the E-field distribution. one method is shown below.
look at this:

one method is to change the width of the radiator like the following picture:


but,I really don't know why this changing in the dimension of the Radiator cause to this distribution of Electric field without changing the performance of the antenna!!Shocked

Do you know why this happen?
I need deep and good reasons for this.


and the other question :
Are there any other methods to Uniform the E-field distribution on the Radiator?

I think this result appears because when we increase the width of the radiator
actually we reduce the resistance of the radiator sheet ,don't we?
