|
|
Dear friends,
I am now going to design some antennas in 60GHz with the aid of HFSS version 12. In millimeter wave, the metal loss reduces the gain and efficiency of the antenna in real situration and the metal loss should be considered. However, it seems that I cannot set the metal loss in the simulator (HFSS).
Please teach me if anyone here knows how to set it?
Thank you very much for your consideration. |

| The metal loss is due to a finite conductivity. Can you just make the metal a dielectric or conductor and set the conductivity to copper or aluminum or whatever material you are using? |
