Hello All,

I am facing a new application which requires antenna to be buried under earth surface. Could you please suggest the right antenna type for such applications.

I did a little research and I found a paper about an antenna that is derived from planar circular and elliptical disc monopoles used for underground soil applications. The antenna is called USEMA (underground single-ended elliptical monopole antenna).
The paper was written by M. Johannes Tiusanen.
