My only experience is in single band antennas (434MHz and 868MHz).
I'd like to integrate a quad band chip antenna into a project I'm working on. Frequencies would be 850, 900, 1900, 2100Mhz (2G/3G bands).
Are there a lot of differences when it comes to tuning? I'm guessing it's similar except I'd need to look out for the optimal match over all frequencies instead of the optimal match for a single frequency |

| Quad band antennas are really dual band: they have a lowband and highband (850-900 & 1900-2100). So you match the lowband with a lowband matching circuit (series C and shunt L) and the highband with a highband matching circuit (shuntC and series L). |
