Greetings,

I've done a lot of research the past few days on antenna matching, all the techniques ...

I ve come to the conclusion that I done have the technical background and devices to do that properly.

I want to use the original FM antenna of my 10years old car (1 wire high Z antenna with the car body as ground) to receive FM radio with a USB stick based on realtek rtl2832 & R820T tuner.

It is working quite well if I keep the central pin of the coax 1mm away and sudenly a lot of loss in SNR when it is connected.

My guess is the need to put a coil and to a UNUN to match 50ohm input of the R820T ?

I have no idea of the Z of the car antenna ...

Could you help me ?
