Hi,

On the http://www.antenna-theory.com/antennas/patches/antenna.php page, the equation for the radiation pattern of the patch antenna seems to be wrong:

for phi=0, both E(phi) and E(theta) are equal to 0 (since sin(phi) = 0),

But the diagram shows a circular field pattern for phi=0...

no, E_theta is proportional to sin( constant*sin(phi) )/sin(phi), which doesn't go to zero....look up sinc function
