hey everyone. I have read that when we apply feed to the long sides of slot in a ground plane, we analyze it just like applying feed to a short circuited transmission line. I am confused about how it can be considered exactly same as a thin transmission line, because slot is just an opening in conductor, and rest of the conductor is just 1 piece of metal. how can we consider it as 2 conductors making transmission line. ? kindly help
