If you are looking to get a job in consumer electronics, Amazon (aka Lab 126) has multiple openings for Antenna Engineers. I've updated the jobs page to show some of the pertinent openings:
http://www.antenna-theory.com/careers/jobs.php
They are looking for people such as:
Sr. Hardware Antenna Design Engineer (with GSM/UMTS/CDMA experience)
Hardware Antenna Manager (with GSM/UMTS/CDMA experience)
Sr. RF/Antenna EPM
They have several jobs available where they are looking for people with cellular design experience. Now this could be related to their cellular based kindle fire tablets, but I don't think so. They already have the staff for that.
It appears that Amazon (Lab 126) is ramping up to develop a phone. They have a large number of jobs posted suggesting they are ramping up to do something.
Hence, you heard it here first:

Hence, the HTC One phone has the small white gap on either end of the product - this line indicates the feed point for the upper antenna (diversity cellular, wifi, gps, etc) and the lower antenna (primary cellular antenna). |
