HI again, with another question regarding WiFi ' cantennas '.
--> [Assuming the (1/4 wave:monopole or 1/2wave dipole) probe is properly positioned near the "focus"]
Would replacing the can's flat-bottom with a suitable, parabolic-reflector,
provide additional signal-gain for a waveguide-cantenna?
(i.e. blend the cantenna technologies with WokFi developments.... ) |

| No, that won't work. In the case of a parabolic reflector, the dish is 10s-100s of wavelengths long. This isn't the case for the WIFI cantenna so you won't get any benefit from doing that. It's a reasonable idea though. |
