My question is probably a really simple one, but as I'm searching for literature online regarding antenna geometry, I come across papers covering arrays. Are all antennas that have more than one vibrator and multiple poles arrays or is there a distinction that I'm missing? For instance, is a Biconical antenna an array?
Thanks for the clarification Razz

An antenna array is a set of antennas. This means there has to be more than one feed point (or place where the energy is gathered). So for instance, a yagi-uda antenna is a set of elements, but has a single source. Therefore this is not an antenna array.

But if the yagi uda antenna had two feeds, then it would be an array.
